 and our graduates returning from college are interested in playing,
 so we've changed our age bracket.

The Spinnakers is now a WOMEN'S ICE HOCKEY TEAM.

The skeletal schedule posted below shows our reserved ice on Tuesday nights.  Games and tournaments will be added when scheduled. 
 
WOMEN'S INAUGURAL SEASON SCHEDULE
Congratulations to Julie Osipow, winner of the 2009 Allyson Rioux Award.
The award is given annually to the most outstanding scholar-athlete among female high school seniors in the City of Stamford.  The honor is well-deserved and we're very proud of our association with her.
Julie joins Katie Hynes (2001), Natalie Savona (2004) and Karlie Tiscia (2008) as the fourth member of the Spinnakers to earn this most prestigious award.

   USA Hockey registration, on-line.
 Go to www.usahockeyregistration.com and register as a member for the year beginning September 1.  Charge fee to credit card.  Your registration will be confirmed by an e-mail bearing a bar code.  Forward it to manager@spinnakers.org in order to participate in any of our programs after August 31.  On-line registration is now open for the new season.

In order to join the Spinnakers on the ice for any reason, you must give us a current USA Hockey registration confirmation.  Every player registers herself on-line at www.usahockeyregistration.com for the year beginning September 1.  You will need a credit card to pay the registration fee.  Forward the confirming e-mail (the one with the bar code) to manager@spinnakers.org.  Please register early, so we can complete the process by registering the team before the new season begins.  On-line registration for the coming season opens on May 1.
